Terms of Service

UserAlertX is a service of Xpandable Technology Lab LLC ("we," "us"). These terms govern your use of UserAlertX (useralertx.com / useralertx.com). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

What UserAlertX does

UserAlertX sends a text message or email to one phone number or email address that you personally verify — the one you sign up with. It is built for personal alerts and for AI agents/automations that need a way to reach you. It cannot be used to message anyone other than the account holder's own verified number/address. UserAlertX is not a marketing, advertising, or bulk-messaging platform, and it is not for spam. There is no directory, no purchased or shared contact lists, and no way to message anyone other than your own verified recipient.

Your account

You must provide a real email address (and, if you use SMS delivery, a real phone number) that you own or are authorized to use.
You're responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Anyone with it can send alerts through your account.
One phone number and one email may only ever be bound to your own account, not someone else's, without their consent.

Text messaging

Message and data rates may apply.
Message frequency varies — it's driven entirely by when you or your connected bot/program sends an alert, not a fixed schedule.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use UserAlertX to send unlawful, harassing, or abusive content, to attempt to message anyone other than your own verified recipient, or to interfere with the service's normal operation (including automated abuse of signup or send endpoints). UserAlertX may not be used for marketing, advertising, promotional messaging, or spam of any kind — it is strictly for personal, event-driven alerts to your own verified number or address. Accounts found sending marketing or spam content will be suspended.

Free tier and billing

New accounts include a limited number of free sends. Beyond that, continued use requires adding funds or a subscription as described on your account screen at the time. Pricing is shown before you're charged; we do not charge without your action to add funds or subscribe.

Termination

You may stop using UserAlertX and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or are used for unlawful activity.

Disclaimer

UserAlertX is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free delivery — carrier networks, email providers, and third-party services (including Stripe and Twilio) are outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date above.
